Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
Halve each sweet potato lengthwise. Cut each half into 4 even wedges, about 1/2 inch thick at the widest point.
Pat the wedges completely dry with paper towels.
Toss the wedges in a large bowl with the olive oil until evenly coated.
Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cumin. Toss again until evenly coated.
Arrange the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between pieces. Cook in batches if needed.
Air fry at 400°F for 10 minutes.
Flip or shake the basket to expose the uncooked sides.
Air fry for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges are golden and a fork slides into the thickest wedge with slight resistance.
Rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
Notes
Chef's Tip: Pat the wedges completely dry before adding the oil. Any surface moisture turns to steam in the air fryer and stops the wedges from crisping properly.Nutrition Facts: Calories: 113 kcal | Carbohydrates: 19g | Protein: 2g | Fat: 4g | Saturated Fat: 1g | Fiber: 3g | Sugar: 4g | Sodium: 340mgNutrition information is automatically calculated and should be used as an approximation only.
