Ingredients
- 6 large croissantsabout 100–120 g each
- 12 slices turkey hamhalal‑certified if preferred
- 6 slices cheddar cheeseor 1½ cups shredded
- 2 tablespoons unsalted buttermelted
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustardoptional
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or black seedsoptional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut each croissant horizontally, leaving a hinge.
Place 2 slices of turkey ham and 1 slice of cheese (or shredded cheese) inside each croissant.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Dijon mustard (if using).
Brush the tops of the croissants with the butter mixture and sprinkle with sesame or black seeds.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
Let the croissants rest for 2 minutes, then serve.
